GOLOS Association—Reliable on Elections since 2000: Work schedule for 4–5 March.
The 4 March elections are only a few days away. This weekend, many of us will not be with you: we will be observing and reporting on the elections throughout all of Russia.
More than 2,500 GOLOS Association correspondents in 44 regions across Russia will carefully chronicle compliance with voting and counting procedures. This information will be promptly compiled and made available to the public. Information received by way of the Map of Electoral Violations and the telephone hotline will also be monitored and analyzed.
So that with your help we can keep the Russian public efficiently informed of what is happening throughout the day of 4 March, GOLOS will organize a constantly operating informational facility on the first floor of the Independent Media Center at 17/9 Prechistenka Street in Moscow. The building is located next to the Leo Tostoy Museum, near Kropotkinskaya metro. The entrance is located on Barykovskovo Lane, under the arch after the second entrance, in the courtyard to the left of the stairs.
The program will provide live inclusion of the regions, operational statistics on violations, and reports on the Map of Electoral Violations. Experts and employees of the Association are prepared to provide commentary and information.
The Information Center will operate on 4 March from 9:00 until 22:00. The program will include: press conferences, briefings, demonstration video materials, and Skype interviews with regional coordinators. The following is a preliminary schedule of press conferences: 11:00, 12:00, 17:00, 21:00, and 22:00. Briefings will be held every hour.
A final press conference will be held on 5 March at 12:00 in the Independent Media Center.
We look forward to seeing you.
